Dr. Sandipkumar Patel(B.V.Sc. & A.H.)

Registered Veterinarian and Managing Director

Dr. Sandipkumar Patel (Sandy) is a Registered Veterinarian licensed by Alberta Veterinary Medical Association, CVMA and AVMA; and Managing Director/Partner at SAH.

He has wide experience of working abroad for 16 years and more with mixed species including dogs, cats, farm animals, rodents and exotics. His family including teen son is accompany him in Canada for 11 years. Dr. Sandy has worked as a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) for 5 years and as a Temporary Registered Veterinarian for 2 years. After hard work and consistent efforts, he finished the certification exams to practice veterinary medicine in Canada and USA. His passion for pet care, veterinary medical skills, anesthesia, management, client communication, dentistry, surgical, technical, clinical, laboratory (pathology & radiology) skills and behavior/nutritional counselling will be helpful for the pets and pet owners.

Dr. Koshy George

Veterinarian and Director

Dr. Koshy is one of the experienced veterinarian and director of Southfork Animal Hospital. He completed his veterinary school in 1991 and worked as a mixed animal veterinarian for 12 years abroad.

He took his Master’s in Business administration in 2000 and was involved with multiple provincial projects abroad. He got his Registered Veterinarian title in 2007 and thereafter he worked as a small animal veterinarian in 2 busy clinics in Alberta. His major area of interest is small animal clinical medicine and he got training from University of Guelph, Ontario. He partnered in Clareview Casselman Pet clinic and Montrose Pet Clinic to make the project a reality. He enjoys life with his family in west Edmonton.

Courtney Forester

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Courtney is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) at Southfork Animal Hospital (SAH)

She graduated from NAIT in April of 2016 on the deans honor roll. She has been with SAH since February 2017. She greatly enjoys speaking with clients and has a passion towards good client communication. She is also very interested in radiology and small animal dentistry. At home she has cats and 2 Border Collies. She has been heavily involved in the dog sport community since 2009. She trains and competes in many dog sports with her dogs including agility and disc/frisbee. The well being and health of all animals is very important to her. She looks forward to meeting all of the pets that come in to the clinic!
